Eileen Templin, LCSW, RYT
Eileen Templin, LCSW, RYT, is a psychotherapist with over 25 years of counseling, training and teaching experience. She is a licensed clinical social worker and a board certified Diplomate in clinical social work specializing in MindBody psychotherapy for individuals and couples. Her areas of focus include the treatment of anxiety and depression, trauma, stress-related conditions, relationship issues, loss and grief, life transitions, and surviving to thriving; cultivating true happiness.
She has a master's degree in clinical social work from Barry University and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Penn State with bachelor degress in social work and in religious studies. She has taught in the Sociology and Social Work department of Lebanon Valley College and over the years has provided a variety of trainings, presentations and personal growth groups in the community. She has written a book, Emerging Self, Embodied World: How We Heal and Transform Ourselves and Our World, as well as, articles that have been published in local newsletters and magazines, and has done consulting work writing content development for an upcoming web-based venture on healing and optimal well-being.
Eilieen has been mentored in transpersonal psychology and in the integration of mind, body and spirit for healing and transformation. She received her certification as a yoga teacher through the Himalayan Institute and is registered with the Yoga Alliance. Eileen's eclectic approach to therapy and coaching draws from psychodynamic, cognitive, transpersonal, positive, and energy psychology, bodily-focused psychotherapy, and mystical traditions of the east and west. Most recently, Eileen has been studying the new brain science and the "science of happiness", incorporating their applications for healing and enhanced well-being and quality of life.
